I’m excited to share my newest artwork, Hibiscus Radiance Against the Hawaiian Waves. This 11 by 14-inch piece combines acrylic paint with glass and resin to create a vivid tropical scene. Large hibiscus flowers in reds, pinks, and oranges take center stage, their glossy petals contrasting with lush green leaves. Behind them, a sunset sky unfolds in rich yellows, purples, and oranges, melting into turquoise and deep blue ocean waves. The setting sun’s golden light dances across the water, capturing the calm yet vibrant energy of a Hawaiian sunset. After returning from vacation, I couldn’t shake the memory of these sunsets, and this painting was my way of bringing that feeling to life through color and texture. The interplay of natural elements and light made this a particularly rewarding process, and I’m eager to hear what it brings to your space.
