I’m excited to share my newest piece, Swanfire Radiance. This 11 by 14-inch acrylic painting combines layered brushwork with hand-applied glass and resin to bring a swan to life against a striking background. The swan’s graceful, white form contrasts with a vivid gradient that shifts from warm yellows and oranges to deep blues, reminiscent of sunlight transitioning at dawn or dusk. What truly sets this work apart are the swan’s wings—painted with bold, textured strokes in an array of rich colors that catch the light through subtle metallic and glitter accents. My goal was to blend the swan’s natural serenity with the energy and movement of vibrant color, creating a balance that feels both elegant and dynamic. The glass elements add depth and brilliance, making the piece shimmer in changing light. I hope this work invites viewers to experience a moment of calm radiance and unexpected vibrancy.
